Christmas is nearly here but there is still time to get gifts delivered in time for the 25th of December. Union leaders and Royal Mail bosses have come to an agreement that postal strikes will not happen over the Christmas period ensuring that the Christmas post will not be disrupted. This is good news for all shoppers who now don’t have to worry about getting their purchases delivered on time for Christmas this year.

Booking Delivery Online: You can now book online and Parcelforce Worldwide will collect your presents and deliver them. They are also offering a 10% discount when you place orders online. For those who want to send presents abroad, offers next working day deliveries to most countries including US, Canada and Europe.

Shopping Online: Every retailer online aims to deliver by Christmas and most online shops are giving a guaranteed delivery before Christmas if you buy within a certain date.

The Last Minute Shoppers: If you have not had a chance to plan early and think getting your gifts delivered before Christmas will cost you an earth, you can relax. There is still time to get your purchases delivered for free from various retailers such as Amazon. Remember to make sure what you order is available in stock.
The Now or Never Shoppers: If you have left it so late that all options of getting your gifts delivered are ruled out, you can still redeem yourself with gift certificates from Amazon. They are great last minute Christmas gifts and come in attractive designs. These gift certificates can be emailed or printed out.

Shopping for Christmas need not be stressful or expensive. Forget wondering what to buy, where to look or how to find the best bargain. Everything is made easy with shopping online. Not convinced? Keep reading and we are sure you will agree that this Christmas shopping online is the thing to do.

Here are our top 10 reasons to shop online

Shop when you want: The biggest advantage of shopping online is you can shop when you want. Instead of trying to juggle your job, family and the shop opening hours, you can simply shop when you find time and the online shops open 24/7.

Avoid the crowd: If Christmas shopping means squeezing your way through shops full of people and long queues everywhere, it quickly begins to become unpleasant. The shop assistants are tired and you, the customer, are not treated like the most important person. Avoiding crowd and all the unpleasantness is easy when you shop online

More variety: Is your heart set on a particular colour or model? Online is the place to go. It is impossible for any shop to stock up on every colour or size. Popular sizes tend to disappear pretty fast from the shelves. The selection available online through various websites is almost unlimited.

Bigger and better discounts: It is easier to find discounts and promotions online than it is in high street shops. There are various websites that offer codes giving you anywhere from 10% to 50% discount on products when you buy them online.

Lower Prices: Online shops don’t have to pay rent for a high street shop, pay wages to sales staff or pay bills to light up their windows with festive displays. This means their overheads are lower and they are happy to pass some of this saving by reducing the price of their products to customers who shop online.

Reviews: Independent reviews of various products are available online and you can see how a product is rated by people who have bought it and used it. This gives you confidence in your purchase and alternatively stops you making a bad choice!

Compare Prices: One of the fantastic advantages of shopping online is being able to compare prices of the things you want to buy. Instead of going from one shop to the other in search of a better bargain and having to go back to the first shop again, you can compare the prices and choose the best bargain.

Save mother Earth: By choosing to do the Christmas shopping online rather than driving to shops, you can reduce fuel consumption. This reduces your carbon footprint and helps you do your bit in saving mother Earth.

Save money: Shopping online saves you a lot of money in more ways than one. It is not just the prices of the products themselves that are cheaper, various other factors such as savings made on petrol, parking fees and eating out etc add up on a shopping trip. There is also less temptation to buy things you don’t really want.

Save Time and Relax: Imagine having to getting ready to go shopping, driving through the traffic, finding a parking space, braving the weather to reach the shop, waiting to be served, queuing up to pay the bill, worrying about parking time running out…Now imagine lounging in your Pj’s with you feet up, watching TV or having a drink whilst shopping online…
